About the Event

As we enter the Ethiopian and Eritrean New Year, Buna Blues returns for a new season with a new home, and the same heartbeat at its center: coffee and jazz and community.

Buna Blues is a gathering rooted in the rituals that bring us closer. Coffee poured with intention. Music carried across the diaspora. Conversations that turn strangers into community.

The Venue

Station 11 is Atlanta’s new social house — a place to eat well, drink better, and stay longer than you planned. From daytime ease to night rhythms, this is where the city gathers again. Named after Fire Station No. 11, the building’s original identity, Station 11 brings fresh life and new energy to a space that has always meant something to this city. It sets the stage for our next Buna Blues where rich cultural traditions meet the soulful pulse of live music, inviting you to slow down, connect, and immerse yourself in the sound.

The Experience

THE DINING ROOM

Enter the evening with an Ethiopian coffee ceremony, slow burn global jazz by our curator, Ariam, and the familiar aromas of cuisine across the diaspora. Dinner reservations available at Station 11.

THE LIVING ROOM

At half past 7, we welcome guests upstairs where the energy rises with live jazz by Ad-Lib, dancing, and a full bar. A space to connect with others, let loose, or simply enjoy yourself.

Two rooms. One gathering. A new season of Buna Blues.

Where it feels familiar.
