The Culture Exhibit
AJ Anderson
My name is AJ Anderson and I’m the creator of Bluddy Rose. Being purposely misspelled, it is defined as a symbol of love for the sustaining of life, the awareness in emotion, and the driving force to carry on living life to the best of our abilities, despite the challenges we encounter. I am a passionate creative based in Atlanta, Georgia. As an artist dedicated to photography, videography, literature, and fashion design, my work is unique to my testimony, made with intention and curiosity. I graduated from Georgia State University in December of 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art.
To me, unity starts in Christ. It is love, compassion, forgiveness, and seeing value in everyone, despite differences. It is the ability to be selfless, coming together as a united front to support and put energy towards something that creates change. Unity is creativity, collaborating with various minds to achieve a desired outcome or goal greater than oneself. Unity is remaining rooted in what you believe in, using different ways to strengthen community, such as art, to collectively heal, learn, progress, and fellowship.
