Etheldreda Esomba

Born just outside of Atlanta and raised by my Cameroonian mother and grandparents, my identity is deeply rooted in culture, heritage, and personal experience. I am a multidisciplinary artist, exploring and expressing myself through various mediums, with photography as one of my most intimate forms of storytelling. My work seeks to capture and communicate moments of intimacy—not just to be seen, but to be felt. Through each image, I aim to transcend the visual and provoke a sense of time, memory, and presence. Inspiration flows from my lived experiences, the people who empower me, and the connections I make along the way. Ultimately, my art is an ongoing conversation—between self and subject, past and present, and the worlds I carry within me.
