I identify my culture as black, southern and community centered. More like a lived experience. I move through spaces that feel familiar to me and I photograph them with the kind of ease and respect that only comes from being in that environment, not just documenting from the outside. My lens is shaped by that I don't romanticize or sanitize I let the small details carry the story.
